When the birds would no longer sing,
You reached out and grabbed my hand,
Lifted me up when I felt all hope was lost,
When my heart was broken beyond recognition,
With no words ever uttered but one,
You changed my life forever,
Now with no more tears being shed,
No more doubt in my head,
And my heart repaired,
That one word you gave me now much a part of me,
